Levy Stewart-Bernard, Arbutus Speech Therapy

Arbutus Speech Therapy is excited to welcome Levy Stewart-Bernard to our team!

Originally from Victoria, Levy is excited to be back in the province after receiving his Master of Health Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toronto in 2021. Before that he was studying Music with a specialization in Vocal Performance from Briercrest College in Saskatchewan. 

He is a member in good standing with Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC,) Speech and Hearing BC, and  is registered with the College of Speech and Hearing Professionals of BC (CSHBC.)

Levy’s experience ranges from early intervention to dysphagia management on the palliative care floor.  When working with children, Levy uses a play-based approach. Levy has worked with clients with childhood apraxia of speech and other speech sound disorders, has led a voice therapy group, and music groups for language. He tries his best to make sessions fun, engaging, and neurodiversity affirming. 

In his free time Levy enjoys singing, exploring the city, hosting dinner parties, and working out at the gym.
